Recognizing Value

February 28th, 2021

Money doesn’t mean contentment; money may not be valued though is desirable and mostly needed. What matters most is becoming a person you were born to be. Value can be recognized by focusing on who you strive to be, the reason why you exist or your purpose in life. There are factors beyond control; undermine grace and facts in recognizing value may be detrimental. Therefore, value must evaluate to correlate with the right reason. Here is what the LORD says in Jeremiah 9:23-24, “Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord”

Value or goal intention determine purpose in life. Purpose is meaningful and sometimes too broad to navigate. To be purposeful, it is important to focus on relevant activities. Not a great point to employ amount of time and resources in an attempt to bring someone down or investigate his or her private life. That time can be directed towards creativity; or towards a productive activity instead of irrelevant things; things that don’t add value.

Christ is impressed with bearing good fruits. Winning souls is very important to Jesus Christ as well as the world where no person is oppress, hungry and homeless.  If a person’s intention is to steal, kill and destroy, that person has no purpose. Christ said he came to give life. Individual daily life should be to bless someone daily.

Therefore, use your resources, skills and intelligent for the right reason.Turn whatever skills you have to usefulness and productivity. Embrace decency and empathy in everything. While doing so, be grateful for everything. This will lead you to the right value; meaningful value. The Bible says “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him” (Colossians 3:17 KJV
