Betrayals for Valueless
“I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, what is that to us? see thou to that.” (“Matthew 27:4 KJV)
Judas betrayed Jesus Christ for a thing of no value. When he realized he repented and brought the thirty pieces of silver (a thing of no value) which he was paid as a reward for betraying Christ. He thought the co-conspirators would sympathize with him. The conspirators didn’t feel that way. It implied the conspirators said you did it, that is your problem.
Why was Jesus betrayed? Some passages of the scriptures said they conspired against Jesus Christ because he called himself the son of God, did some good things; made the blind to see on sabbath day, or simply because of envy. Whatever the case may be, there are not enough reasons that can justify the betrayer and the co-conspirators’ actions. There was no basis to deliver the Innocent or a human to end of life. There are not enough reasons because Jesus was on purposeful mission on Earth.
Many people have been conspired against and persecuted for valueless reasons or for rewards that will perish. No one should be among the conspirators or betrayers. Betrayer comes with regrets. Any reward received to betray is valueless and insignificant. There are many present-day betrayers for things of insignificant.
The truth is that betrayers will always regret their actions like Judah and discover later their reasons and prices for betraying were valueless. God’s thought towards everyone is good, peace, not evil. Let your thoughts towards everyone be thought of good not evil. If you are unhappy because someone seems better than you, that is not a good thought. Philippians 4:8 (KJV) says “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. If you align your thoughts as is written, there will not be no regret for betraying the innocent or anyone for things of no value or for any reason.
