Your Life Purpose
Purpose comprises of essential motivating facts directed towards achievement of the purpose of life. Life purpose influences actions that direct people to decisions towards their life goals. Life purpose is a sense of direction that shapes actions, and goals of people’s lives. Some men of great Characters in the bible, such as Joseph was predestined for his life purposes. The greatest men in the Bible were not imitators, but originals. Copycat or imitators may be missing their own great purpose in life. Life’s purpose differs from passion and inspiration. Actually, is good to be passionate about something and go for it. Is also good to admire a person and inspire to be like the person. Life is a process, a journey with a starting point through different connecting points before reaching the final destination. Precept upon precept: Life purpose is connected with a systematic process to attain a meaningful, and satisfy purposeful life which is called Divine destine.
When someone loses his or her Devine life purpose, It will result in an unclear direction; improvidence, confusion, shortsightedness, and thriftlessness. Many people don’t realize why they are on earth even at old ages and not sure if their possession or career is the one God had purposed for them. Some people compare themselves with others or envy others because they don’t have a clue about whom they are and where God is taking them to. They don’t have complete knowledge of other people’s journey towards their life purpose. 2nd Corinthians 10:12 says those who compare themselves with others are not wise.
The best prayer is LORD show me my purpose in life. When there is a sense of direction, there will be no guilt, hate, comparison, envy, and jealousy. Entering into another person’s destine is risky. Original self is always the best because God has given every man according to the measure of their faith in life. One can only perceive to an extent; perception of the good side of others without envisaging the bad sides can be dangerous. It may lead to the abandonment of a glorious destine into an unrealistic one. “All that glitters is not gold” a saying by Shakespeare, (The Merchant of Venice)
Joseph was sold into slavery, threw into prison, and later became a Prime Minister in his final destination. If Joseph was not predestined for his purpose, he wouldn’t have withstood the traumatic experiences. He survived all the traumatic experiences because such were processed towards the realization of his Devine destine.“ But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive” (Genesis 50:20 KJV) Joseph had a sense of direction and accepted all that happened to him was process towards the fulfillment of his Devine destine.
When God predestines a man, he starts from the first day he created him, mode the character, chose schools he will attend, the people he will meet in life, where he will live or work, the level of blessings or problems, the events that will shape the man’s life and etc. If many people have a clue about their purpose in life and follow it, life would much easier. There will be a sort of confidence towards realizing goals and objectives. God is against covetousness and envy. God encourages everyone to be content with whom they are and with what they have.
The following scriptures are very important to read, understand, and apply in real-life situations.
1) “But godliness with contentment is great gain”(1 Timothy 6:6 KJV )”
2) “A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones” (Proverbs 14:30 KJV)
3)” Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
